I enjoyed this story, particularly the second half, when the action picked up. The author did an excellent job of capturing the feel and tone of Salem, weaving it into the background of this paranormal teenage drama. I also appreciated the underlying message on internet safety.Product details

This is a wonderful story. Rather a teen book but I enjoyed it, the main story line is very current. As I grew up in Salem I found it interesting how the 2 story lines melded together. A Great read
This was a gripping story with a good message for teens. Lynda Styles used a famous historical setting along with interesting characters to keep the reader on the edge of their seats. An overall good showing for a first time self published work.

Well written, exciting, interesting, spooky all at the same time. Since I come from Salem and live in Gallows Hill I recognized all of the landmarks the author mentioned. I have recommended this book to all the readers I know. Read it in one sitting. It should be on your best seller list.
I was admittedly hesitant about reading a young adult novel, but was pleasantly surprised at how riveting this book was. I love a story that offers different points of view and On Gallows Hill certainly delivers! I expected the book to have an over-abundance of the paranormal, but I found the balance was just right. The way the author described the main character's feelings and abilities made me feel a lot of compassion for Katelyn. As eager as I was to turn each page, at the same time I didn't want the story to end. Very well written, will keep the reader interested all the way through and certainly wanting for more. I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next!
Though written for young adults, and I'm in my 60's, the plot going forward was captivating and kept me reading late into several nights. The editing (grammar, syntax, and sentence structure) was perfect-not a single annoying incorrect use of tense, person etc. I immediately cared about the characters in this book and although happy that it was 501 pages long, was sorry to see it end. I'll watch and look forward to seeing more from this author.
Three high school girls get lumped together for a history project. Never anticipating just what would come of that project they end up pulling together to save one of thier lives from a deranged internet stalker, as well as discover the true history of Salem and what really went on there 300 years ago.
After reading this book by a Salem native and being from Salem myself, I felt the author captured the essence of the spirits that dwell among us! The descriptions of the locations remind me of some of Salem's most unique and endearing places like Forest River Park's huge stone slide, The Witch House, Pioneer Village and the infamous Gallow's Hill.
